Biochemist Dr. Loren Pickart's powerful, yet gentle, skin exfoliating system using alpha hydroxy acid (lactic), designed to leave your skin smooth, beautiful and clear. Lactic Power 10 is a leave-on hydroxy acid serum, containing natural antioxidants and vitamin E that restores suppleness to aging or blemished skin as it improves appearance and texture. LacSal is a mild "leave-on" product. Do not wash off. If other products such as copper peptides or moisturizers are used, wait at least 20-30 minutes before applying them on top of LacSal.                               Lactic acid is found in the skin. It is the most natural hydroxy acid. Lactic acid is generated in energy production within the body. These acids work to loosen the chemical links between older skin cells, allowing for easier breakdown of damage. The concept of using hydroxy acids or fruit acids is ancient. Cleopatra wrote the book "Beautification" in which she described the use of fruit acids, sour wine or sour milk (all of which contain hydroxy acids) to renew and beautify the skin.                                                                                                  Lactic acid works well on the skin's surface. The formula of Lactic Power 10 works as an effective serum with 10% pure lactic acid as its active ingredient.  This leave-on exfoliator is designed to encourage old skin removal but also add skin lipids and natural antioxidants to the exfoliated area - leaving your skin smooth, beautiful, and clear.

For those with sensitivity to using to salicylates such as beta-hydroxy acid: salicylic acid, Dr. Pickart's formulation of Lactic Power 10 will be a welcome option in their search for a gentle yet effective exfoliator that really works!                                                                                           Lactic Power 10 does not contain any exfoliating beads. This product is to be left on. Do not wash off. Use cautiously around the eye area. Avoid upper eyelid.                                                                                   

DIRECTIONS:                                                                                            

For best results, use as directed below. Since the skin is in layers, and damage can exist in layers, it is important to use a good method of exfoliation along with copper peptides for improved results.

AM: After cleansing the skin, apply a light amount of your favorite copper-peptide product. The application should be so light that it just barely covers the area without leaving it excessively heavy with product.                                                                           PM: After cleansing the skin, follow up with a light application of Lactic Power 10 (a 10% hydroxy acid).
