High frequency activates processes in the skin's basal layer. It helps refine skin texture and has a germicidal and anti-bacterial effect due to the ozone formation. It decreases sebaceous secretions and helps to heal pustular infection. It also helps to release skin impurities as it dilates the pores.  Most importantly it increases circulation, improving lymphatic drainage and oxygenation of the skin.
There is no polarity or chemical action with this current, therefore chemicals cannot be driven into the skin. There are no harmful effects on the nerves or muscles.
Acneic skin should use the wand twice a day after cleansing for 5 minutes covering the face and neck.
Aging skin can use this wand as a treatment to increase circulation and product penetration. Best to use two  times a week after cleansing for 10 minutes covering the face and neck. Apply serums and moisturizer after a high frequency treatment.                                                              
 
Tip
Best to cover the tip of the mushroom electrode with tissue or apply powder to the tip in order to allow it to slide easily over the skin.
